Scrum Master

We are looking for a highly motivated Scrum Master with a strong background in Agile practices. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in project management, with a minimum of 2 years serving as a Scrum Master. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting agile teams, ensuring that Scrum practices are followed, helping the team deliver high-quality results efficiently, and managing interactions with both local and offshore stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Function as the Scrum Master for one or more agile teams, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to prioritize the product backlog and maintain clear communication between stakeholders and the team.
• Remove obstacles and ensure that the team remains focused on achieving sprint goals.
• Monitor and report on team performance, using metrics such as velocity and burndown charts to track progress.
• Organize the processes of decomposition and story/task estimation.
• Support identification of trade-offs between short-term and long-term benefits to drive shared vision between the team and Product Owner.
• Bring an element of project management skills to the team to assist in planning larger initiatives that require an organized timeline.
• Leverage strong negotiation skills to manage, stakeholders resolve conflicts and reach agreements.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by promoting agile best practices and helping the team refine processes over time.
• Support a collaborative and self-organizing environment where the team can thrive and deliver high-value work.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of project management experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a Scrum Master role, preferably within a SaaS or software development environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Proficiency with Jira or similar tools for managing Agile projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Scrum Master certification (CSM or equivalent) is highly desirable.
